the end…

Over the past 5 years, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of attending Iowa State University and meeting some of the greatest people that have ever walked the earth. From pulling all-nighters in the studio, to getting lost in the woods at Custer State Park, to hosting rager parties in my small apartment, to traveling cross-country in ISU vans, these are moments I’ll always hold dearly because they were with the people I love the most. I started my program with 36 strangers, and now I’m happy to call them my closest friends and colleagues. Outside of our studio, I’ve grown alongside people who’ve stuck with me through thick and thin and share some of my most important memories. These relationships made my college experience so remarkable, and if I could do it again, I would in a heartbeat. The last 5 years have been the greatest joy of my life, and I wouldn’t change a second of it. by @iancuvelier

For the last 7 months, I’ve had the absolute privilege of living, working, studying, and exploring the great state of Arizona and the greater southwest. In my first couple of months, I attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and quickly became more versed in the landscape that surrounded me, along with the vibrant history and culture of the Navajo and Hopi Nations. I’ve grown a lot within a short period, and I’m extremely grateful for all the friends, memories, and growth that I’ve made, and I cannot wait to continue my work for this great state. Since April, I’ve had the opportunity to work with the Coconino National Forest and the Greater Sedona Collaborative in designing the Broken Arrow Trail Head in Sedona, AZ. Trail design has been my biggest professional career goal since starting school, and I cannot believe my dreams are coming to fruition!! I’m so proud of myself and how far I’ve come within these short 7 months, and I cannot wait to continue my journey in this great state. So, this may be goodbye for now, but not forever.
