So with yesterday being the anniversary of my father's passing in 2020, I have to give a shout out to my mom who passed on this day in 2022. It makes for an emotional couple of days. I think about you daily, and wish I could call you and tell you how good the boys are doing, and how I'm adjusting to my new life in Texas. And how nice it is to have Shayne close to me again. But I know you're somewhere looking down on all of us enjoying a nice big margarita with Melanie, listening to some Janis Joplin. I love you Mom! Martha Jane Houston-Foote RIP. by @ianhamer32

What a great birthday weekend for the birthday girl, my sweetheart, Debra. It started with a nice Sushi dinner for she and I on Thursday evening to celebrate her birthday. She is getting more and more adventurous with her new love for sushi. Friday night was amazing where we got to go to the Wine and Spirits show at The Woodlands Convention Center with our friends and neighbors Michael Lee Russell and DeLisa Duncan Russell. This was our first ride in a self-driving Tesla, which came in very handy at the end of the night. #IYKYK A nice relaxing day at the house on Saturday just doing chores and cooking a little food to prepare for our amazing get together today on Sunday with our friends, family and neighbors. It was great to see my old friend David Pfister, who just happened to be in town doing some training, my brother Shayne (the one picture I took) and his beautiful wife Dinah Hamer. And the first of many get togethers with out new friends and neighbors Grant Trudeau and Angelique Goodwin Trudeau. Mike and DeLisa also joined us. I didn't take any pictures of any of the food that we prepared (which is abnormal for me) but here's a list of some of the things that I prepared and I hope everyone enjoyed them.

Bacon wrapped chicken lollipops, lobster deviled eggs, bacon wrapped pineapple BBQ shrimp, fried gator, chicken salad, veggie/cheese tray, lemon tarts, fudge brownies and a nice chili con queso. #TheUnhingedGingerGourmet
