As of late. Been really prioritizing my art journey more than ever. Getting older and not utilizing social media as much. Only so much to achieve in a small window of time so make it worth it 🤙 Hoping to get back to the skatepark soon. Missing the skate homies. Recently I had the honor of being a guest speaker at the Kent State Geauga Campus to talk about my art! My artwork is published in the latest issue of The Listening Eye, a magazine devoted to art and poetry. It was a great event and I was happy to elaborate on my photographic approach! @fotostorage_ also got to read her poem that was published!“The ‘photographic eye’ construct is an interesting one. It is not just about arbitrarily taking photos in a meaningless fashion but focuses on a much deeper, serious conscious awareness in the development of spatial observation. It is the act of harvesting a sort of pictorial radiance from the world around you. The photographic eye is constantly aware and constantly active because it is searching - it has an inherent desire to pull something special from the framework of our reality and document it in the physical form through photography.” by @ianmarshall92
