🎤✨ From Opera to Musical Theatre. Living My Most Fabulous Tenor Life

There is nothing quite like being a tenor who moves between worlds.

Opera gave me technique, drama, breath control and vocal fireworks.
Musical theatre gave me storytelling, freedom and emotional electricity.
Put them together and the possibilities feel endlessly colourful and wonderfully expressive.

One minute I am clean, polished and rehearsal ready.
The next I am bruised, marked up and transformed through character makeup for something gritty and glorious.
Then I am in a concert space, singing full out and letting the voice carry the story.

This journey from opera to MT has not been a shift. It has been an evolution.
A widening of colour.
A deepening of artistry.
A reminder that a tenor does not need to fit into one box when we can shine in all of them.

Here is to the versatile, genre hopping, character shifting tenors who bring stories to life with heart, craft and a little bit of sparkle. 🎶✨

After our garden disgrace and two years of neglect, Operation Restore Garden is officially underway!

The recent heatwave has left the lawn looking more like hay than grass, and one of the water features has sadly cracked, but every transformation has to start somewhere.
