Just wanted to take a moment for a more serious post about something that’s been weighing heavy on my heart.

Lately, I’ve been struggling to find my “happy place.” The smiles in photos don’t always show the full story. Opening up about mental health is tough, but it’s something I feel called to do. This past year has been filled with personal, family, and friendship challenges. Life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, and apps like this can make it easy to fall into comparison and self-doubt. I’ve been there. Still am, most days if I’m truly honest.

Mental health especially in guys my age isn’t talked about enough. If you’re feeling low, just know YOU’RE NOT ALONE. YOU ARE ENOUGH. YOU DO HAVE WORTH. Don’t chase perfect happiness chase the little things that bring you peace, the people who make you feel seen, and the moments that remind you why life’s worth living. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, sometimes it takes going through a mental or physical hell to get to it.

God has a plan, even when it’s hard to see. And I am Grateful for the journey, the people, the relationships I have made in the past and the present, even when it’s messy I am grateful God has provided me with the breath in my lungs and the ability to walk this beautiful planet.

(And I know the Katy Perry in the background doesn’t ideally match what all is being said…but again just the type of person I am. I like the song so I chose it lol.)
