The Honest Creative Some eras end before you’re ready. Some end without your permission. The Corporate Dropout was both. I’ll share the full story on Substack soon, but part of me is still grieving it. What I get to keep is the reason that era existed at all: choosing honesty over comfort. That part was always mine. This season is mine too. Fully. 📸: @halahna.studio #thehonestcreative #multihyphenate #creatorjourney #newera #buildinginpublic by @ianyscreative
Content creation as a small business owner is a labor of love 😂 Ignoring calls, outfit changes, 14 takes… for 11 views. But every post builds your personal brand, sharpens your skills, and gets you closer to the audience you're meant to reach. If you're a freelancer or entrepreneur growing on social media from zero, keep posting. Consistency beats the algorithm. Tell me your lowest-view post that you still love ⬇️ #contentcreation #contentcreator #freelancerlife #entrepreneurlife #socialmediatips by @ianyscreative

consider this your sign to say yes before you feel ready. The fastest growth in my freelance business and creative career came from taking on projects that stretched me, then figuring it out as I went. Content creation, client work, part time positions, building a brand: none of it starts with you being qualified. It starts with you being willing. What's the "too big" thing you said yes to that changed everything? ⬇️ #entrepreneurmindset #freelancer #contentcreation #womeninbusiness #growthmindset by @ianyscreative

Content creator expectations vs. reality 🫠 I had a whole content plan and a shot list. Then my phone overheated, my mind went blank, I got hot and hungry, and the football team showed up. One clip. That's the post. If you're a freelancer or entrepreneur creating content for your business, batching doesn't always go to plan, and that's okay. Sometimes the "failed" shoot is the most relatable content you'll make. Save this for your next content day 🤍 #contentcreation #contentcreatorlife #entrepreneur #freelancer #behindthescenes by @ianyscreative
the grandmama the baby! Solopreneur life = a team meeting with myself 😂 As a freelancer and content creator, "let me check with my team" really means "let me think about it overnight." Running a one-woman creative business means you're the strategist, editor, photographer and CEO. AI tools and a good setup make it work. What's on your solopreneur team? What is a break? Idk... If you reading this and I owe you a text back, my bad bookie. 😩 Freelancer life when the client work stacks up and the texts go unanswered 😬 Being an entrepreneur and content creator means busy season hits hard, and suddenly you're saying the very thing you swore you'd never say. If your business is growing and your social life is suffering, this one's for you. Who do you owe a text back right now? ⬇️ #freelancerlife #entrepreneur #contentcreation #smallbusinessowner #relatablecontent by @ianyscreative
I’m not 💀 one day/ task at a time maneeeee Freelance clients, content creation, events, part time corporrate life. From the outside it looks put together. Behind the scenes it's chaos with good lighting. If you're a business owner juggling everything, this is your sign that nobody really has it all figured out, and you're doing better than you think. Tag the friend who asks how you do it all ⬇️ #entrepreneurlife #contentcreation #freelancer #businessowner #worklifebalance by @ianyscreative
