10yrs ago today, we spent the week with our friend Stuart Cunningham in Valletta Malta.
Stuart was a big influence on my guitar playing progress and love of Jazz guitar.

Before he moved to Malta with work,he taught me a lot and I’ll be always thankful for his friendship, his dry wit and the few times I got to back him on guitar.

He stayed in Malta we believe till about 4yrs ago where he disappeared from view to everyone, friends and work colleagues alike..believing he had returned to Scotland with ill health. This was the last we heard of him till recently where we learned he’d passed early this year..although it’s a sad ending for us close to him.. I can’t help but smile at thought of him going like that..pissing everyone off he would have said and he’d have winced at me sharing a vocal from him 😢😉
