🥊👑 QUEENS OF THE RING 👑🥊

The Queens of the Ring Boxing Tournament in Plantation, Florida, brought together talented female amateur boxers for an exciting showcase of skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

The International Boxing Federation (IBF) was proud to sponsor this special event and support the continued growth and development of women’s boxing.

A special recognition goes to Elia Carranza, the IBF #1 Female Jr. Middleweight contender, who organized the event and helped create an opportunity for female boxers to showcase their talent and passion for the sport.

I had the pleasure of interviewing O’esha Vazquez at the Queens of the Ring all-female amateur boxing showcase at Level Up Boxing & Fitness Plantation. 🥊👑

O’esha is a young boxer with a strong foundation, a great attitude, and a real love for the sport.

She trains with 2Big Boxing with her brothers, and one of the most special parts of her boxing journey is that her dad is also her coach.

As a former professional boxer himself, he is able to share his experience, knowledge, and passion for the sport while guiding his daughter every step of the way.

There is something powerful about seeing a father and daughter share that bond through boxing. The lessons go beyond punches and footwork, it is about discipline, trust, confidence, resilience, and believing in yourself when the work gets hard.

O’esha is also listed as a Youth female boxer in the 106-pound division for the 2026 National Silver Gloves roster, showing that she is already putting herself on the national amateur-boxing path.

I love getting the opportunity to interview fighters like O’esha and hear the story behind the gloves. Every athlete has a reason they started, a team behind them, and a dream they are chasing. Keep working hard, O’esha, your journey is just getting started! 💪🥊

I had the opportunity to interview the one and only @mia_victoria_perez at Level Up Boxing & Fitness Plantation for the Queens of the Ring all-female amateur boxing showcase. 🥊👑

Mia may be young, but she already has the heart, discipline, and presence of a true champion.

A Miami native, Junior Olympic Florida State Champion, and a young athlete who has been featured on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Good Morning America, and Telemundo, she is showing the world what dedication looks like at every level.

Watching Mia prepare to compete at Queens of the Ring was inspiring.

You can see how focused she is, how much work she puts in, and how much she truly loves the sport. She carries herself with confidence, but she also has the humility and respect for boxing that every fighter should have.

This is exactly why I love doing these interviews—getting to hear directly from the young fighters, learning what brought them into boxing, and seeing the passion behind the gloves.

Mia “MVP” Perez is a special young talent, and I’m excited to watch her continue growing in and out of the ring.

Keep working, keep believing, and keep inspiring the next generation of female fighters, MVP! 💪🥊
