My brother is getting married! 🎊🎉❤️ I'm so so excited and happy that @fenymy and I are receiving a new sister in @okonji_ifeoma 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

This particular union makes me so happy because Ifeoma has always been my personal àbúrò! 😅 I could NEVER have imagined her as part of our family back then. But seeing how God orchestrated bringing her and @iyanuoluwanimiadebara together is the most amazing thing ever, and it makes so happy!

I've literally known Ifeoma all her life, and she was my go-to person when I had my son. She would babysit him, and I literally would drop him off with her for the day. We both could never have imagined that this sisterhood would be for life! 😅

I pray that as you are officially joined this weekend, may you grow in love for each other. May you experience victory in all areas, and may your marriage prosper and bloom into something beautiful! May the hand of the Lord shine upon you both, and help you fulfil His purpose for your lives and your union. Amen!

🇳🇬 INEC is responsive! It is now possible to register and complete the process from your phone.

Register to vote in 2027 — and get help if it fails. Deadline to register: 26 July 2026.

Nigeria Votes helps you step by step, and if you hit a problem, you can report it and we assist you.

⏳ This is your reminder: there are less than two weeks left to update your voter information.

Before the deadline, make sure you:

✅ Register to vote (if you’re a new voter)
✅ Replace a lost, stolen or damaged PVC
✅ Transfer your polling unit if you’ve moved
✅ Revalidate your voter information

Most of these services can be started online through the INEC portal. I’ve added the link in my bio.

There has been a lot of discussion about the recent Ekiti State election.

Allegations. Videos. Claims. Counterclaims.

But one question keeps coming to mind:

How much of what we’re saying is based on verified facts, and how much is based on assumptions?

Take voter turnout, for example.

We often hear figures like “85 million PVCs were collected” and use that as a benchmark for participation. But that number is cumulative. It doesn’t necessarily represent 85 million eligible voters who intended to vote in a particular election.

Some people may have relocated. Some may have lost their PVCs. Some may no longer be alive. Others may simply not be participating.

Without accurate and contextualised data, it becomes difficult to answer important questions:

• What was the true voter turnout?
• How do we measure voter apathy?
• What assumptions are we making about the electoral process?

This isn’t about defending or attacking the system.

It’s about recognising the difference between claims and facts, and understanding that accountability starts with good information.

I’ll be sharing more thoughts on this in the coming days.
