To celebrate the full scope of the craft, we’ve selected five creatives whose specialized roles are vital—from the voice artists and distributors to the character designers and stop-motion filmmakers. It takes an entire ecosystem to build an industry, and you can find them all right here.👇

1. Sarah Khortibli’s @its.sarahkhorbtli motion work is so sharp, with a level of rhythmic precision that makes her the ultimate go-to for animating life into a static frame.

2. Ahmed Alrefaie’s @owaikeo,graphic characters feel as though they’re practically begging to be animated, exactly the kind of illustration work we love to show on the Mt7rk Directory.

3. Mounia Aram @mounia_aram is a vital force in an industry that needs more voices like hers; as one of the few Arab women working in the distribution of regional animated series and features, she’s dedicated to making sure these stories actually get seen.

4. Ibrahim Albuainain @ibrahimartstudio is a filmmaker who obsessed over adding a third dimension to his drawings until he mastered the art of stop-motion.

5. There’s a good chance you’ve already heard @adhamsayedh Adham Sayed’s work without even knowing it; a prolific voice artist, he's the creative force behind the Arabic dubbing for shows on Disney and Netflix.

I had the pleasure and a great chat with @dale_seecreature (Dale Hayward) who is an amazing stop-motion animator with tons of passion.

Dale brings so much positive contributions to the stop-motion community so if you ever wanted to start learning about stop-motion, I highly recommend the stop-motion course at @see_learn_academy which I personally benefited from. by @ibrahimartstudio

Since 2023, I've been privileged to embark on a wonderful journey with Civilization of Equality.

What began as a simple concept at the end of 2019 gradually evolved into an ambitious stop-motion project, culminating in its completion in September 2023.

This film would've not been possible without the unwavering support of my family, friends, and everyone who believed in the vision from the very beginning.

I am deeply grateful for their encouragement and faith throughout this incredible adventure.
