🇨🇦 Shanghai Street Snack in North York? Yes, it’s REAL!!

Golden and crispy on the outside
Juicy shredded radish filling inside
That first bite? Pure childhood street-food memory 💛

And it’s made fresh to order.
Not frozen. Not reheated🔥

Pair it with soy milk and fried dough sticks…
It feels like standing at a Shanghai breakfast stall again.

If you live abroad, you know —
Some foods aren’t just “tasty.”
They taste like home.

$9.99 for a Shanghai bento?! And that's not even the best thing I tried 👀

I ordered way too many things at this Shanghai snack spot, so here are my top picks!

🥟 Pork Potstickers
A signature for a reason! Super juicy with a thicker, crunchy wrapper that keeps all that soup inside. Be careful when you bite into them because the juice will literally squirt out 😂

🍱 Shanghai Bento ($9.99 for takeout)
Such crazy value! I got a main, a rice and two veggies. For my main I got braised pork belly and the pork was so tender, fatty and melt-in-your-mouth good.

🥢 Classic Snack Combo
You get 3 snacks, and the fried shredded radish is a MUST TRY, especially if you like radish cakes. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a nice bite on the inside, unlike regular radish cakes that can feel mushy.

🍖 Shanghai Fried Pork Rib & Sticky Rice Cake
Such a solid dish! The pork rib is crispy but still tender, and the chewy sticky rice cake is the perfect texture contrast.

I tried too many things to review everything, so if there's anything else you spotted in the video that you want to know about, let me know in the comments! 👀
