A few 8mm frames from my recent Collab with @staywise for her new film "Time is not the enemy" 🃏

Using the imperfect nature of 8mm film, I felt the medium would allow us to grasp a more experimental approach juxtaposing elements of texture & shadow to bring a sense of 'gothic macabre' to this abstract.

Big thanks to WISER for coming up with this concept and giving me another excuse to bust out my old 1970's Sankyo Camera to shoot some fun experimental work.

Go check out her page to watch the full film and listen to the accompanying soundscape! 🎼

Album Cover & Press Photography for @kaicult666 "SHEER CONTROL" 💿🌟

Had an incredible time collaborating with Kai to construct the visual identity for his debut album, Sheer Control. Shot across four distinct 35mm and 120mm formats, the creative direction leans heavily into early Y2K aesthetics and 'Indie-Sleaze' subculture. Our goal was to pay homage to this defining era of alternative music while expanding it into a world of our own.

Styled, shot & designed by yours truly.

98. @atibspook on 120mm

I first met Atib back when I was working for Swinburne University, we were working through an ongoing case regarding a stolen laptop together by chance. They were the kind of person who oozed authenticity and style! Fast forward to today, Atib has become a close friend of mine who never fails to impress with his unique flair.

94. Hell Hotel ft. @jessicaxwildd

Shot on 120mm Kodak Portra 800.

Went true run-and-gun style during an impromptu last minute shoot for Jess. Light calculations were crazy difficult for this location as the sun was setting which made us lean into a heavier practical lighting approach to create more depth + exposure. taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia by @icarus.archives
