In my 29 years of life, there are several lessons I have learned. The most important recently has been to learn to love and show up for myself like I do for other people. I’m a giver and lover by default and sometimes I go over the top, out of the way and beyond for people if I know that I can help them…even if they don’t deserve it. No one will ever be there for you, love you, and treat you the way you need to be treated like you would yourself.

Second, how important it is to recognize and admit that you need help with things.. no one has it figured out and at times we feel the need to be taking care of our self and not letting other people help or to ask for it because we think we should be able to handle it or have it all together. So huge thank you to my friends and family who consistently support me, love me, and help me grow on a daily basis! I am beyond grateful to have you in my corner fighting the battles sometimes I can’t win myself.

Lastly, how important it is to have a relationship with God. No matter if it’s rocky and takes its twists and turns. There’s nothing greater than the unconditional love that God gives. And to know that God has your back even through your darkest days and coldest nights. There is a light that shines bright through you and within you and you can achieve anything you set your mind and heart to with his help…”With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” Matthew 19:26 🙏🏽

I’m not sure where I’m headed or what I’m going to become yet, but I know there’s something amazing coming! Cheers to another year of life and to those that didn’t make it to see another birthday. I carry you with me every day and I’m thankful to have another day of life 🥳🥂 #LeoSeason 🦁 by @icecoldhughes
