“Mandarin” [A IceeFiles Film] starring @officialcasso out now Directed by @troy.xerri Color: @qatoshness PA: @xeriouse BTS: @shotbyheartless [DIR NOTES] @troy.xerri - took a drive down to Toledo wasn’t goin into the shoot with much super planned just knew the locations we had and I knew I wanted to do mostly static shots or slight movements and I think it looks insane CASSO is a very talented artist and just love the almost LA feel this video has the tire shop and the car it all came together naturally and was a fun relaxed shoot just makin magic definitely excited to see what visions come to life between me and CASSO this video shows if you got location figured out you just find the world within that easily and it comes out good effortlessly #toledo #cinematography #rap #filmaking #hiphop by @iceefiles
“Thank God I’m Me” the album by @22daboat out now Album trailer presented by IceeFiles Directed by @troy.xerri & @22daboat [DIR NOTES] @troy.xerri - was fun spending a day with boat going to where he grew up and driving down some of the streets and seeing his uncles tire shop also meeting his grandma was a wholesome experience and getting to have a glance into some of the history of his family, going to the corner store where he used to grab snacks, overall loved bringing this trailer to life and getting a chance to capture and tell a story that is already real and emphasizing that rather than having to create a world from scratch. Really liked the vintage film look I got on this and how that portrait the feeling of going down memory lane and reflection. #detroit #cinematography #rap #filmaking #album by @iceefiles
“mind control” [A IceeFiles Film] starring @sssancaaa & @zaefyehunnit out now Directed & Edited by @troy.xerri PA/BTS: @xeriouse @allor._ Color Grade: @color.matijamargetic @mmargetic98 [DIR NOTES] @troy.xerri - I love this video, this is from New York back in February and I shot a video already this day then we met with Sanca and Zae and were shooting till 3am on the subways what took the longest was the fact we kept doing takes and it kept taking us even farther up town and we took forever looking for a train that specifically had more of a vintage yellow interior love how this one turned out and finding a different voice working with different vibes of music #newyorkartist #cinematography #musicvideos #singer #hiphop by @iceefiles
“Makaveli” [A IceeFiles Film] starring @22daboat out now Guest appearances by @nasaan @samuelshabazz @big_herk_gotchabackent @therealjnutty @kidhbk1 @nino_aholic Directed & Edited by @troy.xerri Creative Direction: @vitto Gaffer: @godly_jerm @111visuals_ PA/BTS/VHS: @brainwashedmp4 @josephskyy Models: @itsdae_ @lauralexaaa @dametra.dreamz [DIR NOTES] @troy.xerri - sleek video very satisfied with this one and the blue metallic look we got and the mix of colors how it contrasted with the black and white and the overall gritty lighting simple warehouse location and intentional lighting and a fog machine and we good to go baby first time not doing 4:3 aspect ratio in awhile and I like how it looks might do more often overall feel like I hit a new style with this one more a polished industry look #newyorkartist #cinematography #musicvideos #undergroundrap #hiphop by @iceefiles
“Solomon Grundy” [A IceeFiles Film] starring @ayosuperstar & @ukvonn out now Directed & edited by @troy.xerri PA/BTS: @xeriouse Additional VFX: @okayyjalen Clown: @brooke.lady [DIR NOTES] @troy.xerri - shoutout @ayosuperstar for flying into Detroit and coming out to work with me this is one of my favorite videos of mine, this is the wacky shit I love to do, and the colors and the film look it has feels so textured to me, and the location is what made this video special the strong reds and blues on the bathroom walls and the stairs it was a random air bnb in Detroit that was specifically picked out, shoutout @brooke.lady the clown was a standout part of this video and it could have been make or break, shoutout my dad for all of the random weapons he has in the garage, the air bnb was mad creepy and there was noises coming from the basement crazy work, really loved the additional vfx @okayyjalen did to emphasize moments of the song and upped the Creep factor of the clown, and really loved the 3 face effect we did I didn’t know if it would really work out how I imagined but it turned out sick #milwaukee #cinematography #musicvideos #undergroundrap #hiphop by @iceefiles
“GENIE” [A IceeFiles Film] starring @sipgleam out now Directed by @troy.xerri PA/BTS: @xeriouse @allor._ VFX: @okayyjalen [DIR NOTES] @troy.xerri - shot this in under an hour in NYC back in February it was a cold one that day and we shot 2 music videos this day and were out till like 5 am, a lot of this video was made in the edit with mixed media emulation and messing around with masking to give a unique feel and build a world there, shoutout @okayyjalen for doing the animations #newyorkartist #cinematography #musicvideos #undergroundrap #hiphop by @iceefiles
