“Embracing the symphony of connections”

In the tapestry of my experiences, I’ve unearthed the profound significance of true communion.

It’s a delicate dance that requires both souls to intertwine, harmonizing in perfect rhythm to forge connections that breathe life into our shared existence. Within this journey, I’ve come to understand that nurturing bonds is not just a choice, but a calling - an essential act of cultivating habitable environs for all.

Growth, as an unyielding teacher, has bestowed upon me invaluable lessons. It has illuminated the moments when selflessness must prevail, when we willingly surrender pieces of ourselves to create space for others.

These instances occur more frequently now, woven into the fabric of my timeline, reminding me of the transformative power of intentional abandonment - the bittersweet necessity of accommodating the other.

I have also learnt that in the tender chapters of our lives, we often gravitate towards self-preservation, ensnared in the echoes of our own desires.

Yet, as the hands of time intertwine and our stories unfold, we become attuned to the symphony of connection.

We learn that true growth lies in crossing bridges, where our vulnerabilities converge and empathy finds its voice.

From the shared laughter that dances through the air to the heartfelt conversations that etch themselves upon our souls, each interaction becomes an exquisite thread that weaves our tapestry of life.

We become architects of relationships, forging unbreakable bonds that transform the world around us.

In this symbiotic alliance, I’m choosing to shape environments where every heart feels seen, heard, and cradled with tenderness. So help me God 🙏🏾❤️

What a year 2025 has been.

Day after day, I felt held in so many ways beyond my imagination. First it was laying my Dad to rest. Then i turned 30, and somehow, that was the reset button for me.

Challenged myself more. Chose to listen to the inner me more seriously, Founded my first startup, raised my standards in everything, Won 3 Hackathons, left spaces that didn’t serve me, formed new relationships that grew stronger, and left others that felt off even if it was too soon — This was a tough one, but I needed to learn to be enough too.

I walked into rooms that challenged me, felt fear at its core, stepped forward in confidence even when faith felt absent, gave up, gave in, lost, won, tried, failed, cried, laughed, got tested in ways I never expected, and somehow, through it all, stayed grounded.

Thanks to the ears who listened on days when I could only be bitter. Thanks to the minds that reminded me of my dreams and made sure I never stopped. Thanks to the hands that held me, even when it didn’t feel like enough. Thanks to the ones who pushed me up on days I couldn’t push myself. And to the ones who laughed with me, shared wine, time, and sweetness, oh, my dearest ones, you were my escape from the gbas gbos of adulting, the perfect dose of calm I needed to stay sane.

Thanks to the ones I lost. It was a gift in disguise, an ending worth having, and I will forever say thank you for the breath of fresh air I never knew I needed.

Thanks to the earth and all in it that keeps the engine running. And most of all, thanks to me, for daring to live, for accepting the joy in solitude, for choosing to love, laugh, and celebrate for no reason at all.

Looking back at this year, I feel no regrets, no lingering pain, and most of all, gratitude for the endless love, support and abundance this year poured into my plate.

The calm we seek from within can sometimes come from outside of us, and that’s very okay.

Staying locked in can exponentially yield results, especially for someone like me who needs to block out the noise to focus. But we often forget that time never stops ticking, and sacrificing human connection for work and purpose will only give us half the results we dream of.

Even though I’ve somehow lost my balance between work, tech, and life, I’m trying my best to touch grass again. I want to reconnect with the humans from my past, reach out to friends who may feel forgotten, and be more intentional with phone calls and those loud laughs over shared memories.

To friends I’v lost to silence and busy schedules, I’m hoping we can meet again soon..even if it’s been almost a decade and the hustle has left us all wishing we could just hold hands again.

Someone had asked me some days ago, “What holds you down when nothing else does?”, and the truth is at that time, I didn’t have the perfect answers. Well, if you are reading this, now you know... It is the slow showers, the soft rubs on my skin, and me in awe of how far my body has housed a mind as chaotic as mine.

It is how somehow I find anchors: diving deep into work that matters, long walks that clear my mind, and meals crafted by my own hands. These simple rituals aren’t just routines, they’ve become the quiet conversation I have with myself when the world gets too loud. And every day brings a new part we get to discover.
