Had a beautiful afternoon out with Living Earth, Haana Lee and Alex Rita this past Sunday ✨

Heaven was present throughout both of our readings:

9: Small Accumulating (wind / heaven) → 1: Dynamic (heaven / heaven).

Then, 12: Standstill (heaven / earth) → 6: Contention (heaven / water)

Heaven represents yang energy & creative force. Heaven always reminds me of the Chinese depiction of dragons—the epitome of power and movement, constantly swirling and changing direction in the sky.

But yang energy is not always auspicious. Only under the right circumstances are force and movement advantageous. This is why heaven and earth create standstill, with their forces naturally shifting apart from one another. And why heaven and water, both full of opposing movement, result in conflict. by @iching.ensemble
