Twangs and shouts in @calendaryearband

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

2026//2016

It’s true, on this day 10 years ago we released our first full length, Jaded, Apathetic, With No Hope For The Future!

We’d both like to thank everyone who’s listened, bought merch, put us on a gig, been a label who released a recording by us, or otherwise has shown us grace and patience when they did not have to. Thank you.

I’m so proud of everything Todd and I have accomplished the past decade and I’m excited to formally announce that we’re in the process of recording our long awaited (to us, at least) follow up.

If I speak it into the world, it’s gotta exist eventually right?

🚨Blessing your feeds on this fine Monday afternoon with a sick gig alert! @lowecellarmusic are coming in all the way from Seattle, @imayneverreturn_bk are local legends in the making, and we’re honestly just happy to be part of this little Sunday matinee at Gold Sounds. Early show if you have work the next day, or go be irresponsible afterwards if you don’t. Ticket link in bio, see you soon. taken in Gold Sounds by @icommaamboy

After being with us for 24 wonderful years, my family’s bird Joe Carioca has passed. He wasn’t the most friendly pet, but he would always cautiously approach anyone who came close to his cage, it was his way of saying “hello.”

He could never whistle the full melody to the Yankees’ theme song from the 60s but I was happy to hear him get halfway every time.

Sunday pancake breakfasts at my parents’ won’t be the same knowing he won’t be there to answer whenever I’d randomly whistle, knowing he always would.

Miss you already, Joe. by @icommaamboy

📢SWIPE FOR SOME NEW MUSIC. Broke our “hold off on new stuff until the album’s done” rule because this was too important to pass up. The folks at @afewgoodrecords saw the 4 years ahead of us and put together this great comp benefiting California Community Foundation, and we’re happy to be a part of it. Our song “Season’s Greetings” is a different direction from our usual vibe, but was a fun idea that definitely fit the current mood. Enjoy. taken in Satan's Coffee Corner by @icommaamboy

Hadn’t taken a picture with these legends since 2012 so felt the need to see their album release show in London.

Long story short, they still got it (not that they ever lost it)
