We want your people in the field, looking at assets in person, shaking hands and closing deals. Not being tied up, since not every marketing task needs a meeting or a manual click.

We want the marketing teams of the wonderful solutions providers in the HVAC, clean energy, water tech, deep tech and other innovative solutions providers on sustainable asset management front to be focused on building relationships with clients and closing deals.

We want their leadership doing the same or even going on site to do walk arounds with their people. Knowing that repetitive tasks that burnout people are being covered by systems.

Internal summaries, keyword research, content outlines, metadata, meeting notes, drafts and routine categorization are usually reversible. With defined approval rules and role-based permissions, they can run automatically, followed by a light human review.

The boundary matters. Data access stays limited, escalation paths are clear, and audit trails make every action visible. Higher-impact work still requires human approval.

Governance should be reviewed quarterly and after any material incident, regulatory change, new integration, significant campaign or change in data usage.

One of the operating principles of @icreventures is that leaders should have empathy for those they lead.

With leaders imagining themselves in the shoes of their people and finding ways to make their lives better.

People who are well cared for and provided the tools needed for work can produce great results.

That is why we encourage arming employees with tech that can help them automate repetitive work, to free them to work on greater tasks.

Ensure proper governance for the work to be automated, make the tasks clear, and that accountability is measurable.

Without governance, automation can multiply inconsistency, privacy exposure, inaccurate claims, and uncontrolled access.

Responsible marketing automation needs defined approval rules, role-based permissions, data boundaries, escalation paths, audit trails, and quarterly reviews : plus reviews after material incidents, regulatory changes, new integrations, significant campaigns, or changes in data usage.

This post is about the Responsible Automation aspect of our work. Today as we celebrate Labor Day in the US and Canada, how it is vital to remember the crucial role that human workers play in our lives.

That is why in the age of AI, we must ensure that work is structured to make the lives of workers easier, by using tools like AI to automate repetitive work that leads to burnout, to empower humans in their roles.

For example in the field of marketing, there are routine repetitive tasks that can be automated, to free up humans for higher value tasks.

Just posted on our LinkedIn page is Part 2 to our series of articles on “Shadow AI Is the New BYOD". Where the recent post talks about Why Marketing Teams Need Approved AI Agent Employees. Part 1 of the series examined the risks of unmanaged AI use. Part 2 focuses on the operating model that can turn those experiments into a strategic advantage.

We believe that the solution is to make the lives of employees easier by providing them AI helpers to handle repetitive tasks and that are already built based common requirements in certain industries / ready to go on Day 1.

Shadow AI is when employees do work on AI tools that they selected and without the knowledge of their employer.

That often happens because employers have not provided the easy to use effective AI tools that employees need to compete in the current environment. So, employees take the matter into their own hands and seek out solutions.

Happy Taco Tuesday. Reviewing notes on @noelle.ai class yesterday on governance and other lessons. While enjoying smoothies @aguacate_gardenoflove managed by my friend @dayoga_haiti whose share the sustainability mission.

Discussing the work @icreventures does in terms of Responsible Automation and Sustainable Infrastructure. From @aguacate_gardenoflove where we often record videos and hold meetings, to ensure humanity and sustainability are top of mind as we build. In this video, the concept of built and ready to go agents is discussed. As I learned from my friend and mentor @noelle.ai, a lot of individuals and organizations are initially better with this strategy. With a team of 6 ready to go agents to help automating tasks.
