Friday was heartwarming and the start of something wonderful. Our Community Drinks are now co-created with our community to bring to Tilburg what we love of our diverse community! ♥️

𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙇𝙞𝙢𝙖 𝙩𝙤 𝙏𝙞𝙡𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙜 🇵🇪💃

Meet Sonia Rosales, the heart behind this Friday’s edition of Community Drinks: Perú Nos Une! ✨

Born in Lima, Sonia followed love to Helmond 18 years ago, then found her own little piece of heaven here in Tilburg 7 years ago (we might be biased, but we agree 😌).

“Through my love for dance and movement, I built my own place here.” That place is @estilolatinozumba, her dance school where she gets people of all ages moving with Zumba 🕺

With her cultural events at @saboreslatinostilburg, she shares her Latin roots with the city: “A lot of Latin Americans live here, and I want to make our culture visible and known.” 🌎

And what happens when people dare to dance for the first time? “They let go of their insecurities, gain confidence, and above all, they start to enjoy themselves. Every class is a real Latin fiesta: people dance, laugh, and sing along!” 🎶

This Friday, she’s bringing that same energy to us: “With Perú Nos Une, we want to make you feel like you’re in Peru for a moment, without ever leaving Tilburg.” Expect color, music, culture, a very special guest, and a few surprises (she’s not spilling any more details yet 👀).

Because as Sonia puts it: “Everyone should feel welcome, no matter where you come from.” ♥️

The next period, we’ll be closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays because we need to lock in on our special language platform that we’re launching early 2027, but Pieter is making sure the café is running on Fridays! 🙏
