Happy birthday to me. 10 years ago, I chose to become a man. I had the choice of going back home or staying in Charlotte with absolutely nothing and creating my own life. This is just a recognition of the amazing life taking that bet on myself came to be. The ride was definitely a rocky one but where I am now surrounded by those who love me, I'm more successful than I thought I could ever be. My 20's was spent building this but my 30's will be about improving upon it, reaching even farther.

Thank you, younger me for being so ambitious and fearless. I won't let all your hard work and suffering be for nothing. by @icypalmtrees

2026 ins and outs. I love the New Year. I love making new goals for myself and striving to achieve them. Because the finish line doesn't have to be at the end of the year. It can take however long it takes because life happens, things happen but life is continuous. One day you'll have more free time and you can start writing that story again. Aspiring to something is great because you're *doing* something. If you plan to go to the gym all year and only go for the first 3 months then congrats you consistently went for 3 whole months! If you plan to read a book every month and only read 2, you still read 2 books! There are benefits to trying to achieve a goal, whether you succeed or fail you gain something from it. A new skill, more knowledge on a new subject, being able to say "hey, I remember this one time I...." in a conversation. The passion of life is living it!

Having turned 29 years old, I promised myself to get here when I was going through some of the toughest times in my life! I made it by not only sheer determination but by the help of many great people directly and indirectly. I guess I have to change that to 39 now!! by @icypalmtrees
