Feeling super grateful! I left my job recently to take a leap on my art. I got myself a desk space at a shared studio and have been going everyday to sketch and print and learn from other artists. My childhood self could only dream!!!

I feel so blessed to have been busy with so many amazing projects already so thank you all for the support, it really means the world.

Here’s a little of what I’ve been up to…

Designed and printed 100 wedding invites!

Carefully gold leafing each one

Drawing a commission for a friend who’s parents are leaving their long term family home

And another one for a couple who recently got married!

I made the first one into prints so the whole family gets one!

Printed live for Levi’s !!!!

Took myself on a walk around Bloomsbury to get inspired by the old townhouses

Wowwowow what a night! Huge thanks to @the.sixth.space and everyone involved, particularly to @signupsammy who locked in on the heat gun, @custardshopofficial for supplying the tees, @dreanlopes for the design, @nancychiraki for the pics and @emilycltedder for making the whole thing happen. It reminded me how important it is as an artist to get your work off the screens and into the real world, which was the theme of the event - “off canvas”, we had art all over the walls, on clothes, even the food was art, and that’s how life should be! For real, thank you so much and I can’t wait for whats next 💙

Issy Duggan is a British artist whose work explores place, identity, and memory. With a background in cartography, she brings a mapmaker’s sensibility to her practice, approaching composition through layering, perspective, and reinterpreting observed environments.

Her practice is driven by an ongoing fascination with memory and its instability: how places become intertwined with personal experience, and how image-making can preserve moments that are otherwise transient.
