More grain today, this time of a pipe that is just slightly younger than me, One that has seen a decent amount of smoking, at least I assume so from the darkening towards the bottom. Oh and some feathers. by @idan_hp

Today I am looking at grain, not saying a lot, or anything for that matter. Just looking closely. by @idan_hp

A very unique piece from my brother @natekingpipes
This strange creature was picked up from Nate last year, and now we are initiating our real journey together with my first smoke.
This pipe is one of a kind, shaped organically and brilliantly by Nate's skilled hands, and is a highlight of creativity in my collection. Call it a Snail, a Pierced Fish of some sort, or anything else that comes to mind.
The naturally and intricately designed lines offer a different captivating look from each different angle. I absolutely admire this one.
As a fan of exotic woods used in pipe making I cannot but love the Cocobolo shank, and the way it's blasted showcases beautifully how Nate approached this diverse grain and sculptured around it to get the most out of this block.
Needless to say, it is an excellent smoker, like every one of Nate's pipes.
Very happy to be the owner of this one, and can't wait to grow my collection of pipes from the aptly named King.
