I was traveling last weekend and on my flight back I finally finished Ashland by @matt_harry_mh! As my own home is covered in dust and debris, it was nice to know that at least THIS dust wasn’t trying to kill and eat me! Plus all the fun LA and specifically Sherman Oaks landmarks being called out was super fun! Great job Matt! by @idealremake

Today we are learning about winning moves and how many of them there are! @juliabergeron joins Ideal Remake to discuss chess, cinematography, and looming threat of AI! Who’d have thought that all that wraps up into a light 80s family film? Because we’re remaking WARGAMES!!

Last night I had the fun opportunity to go to The Emmy’s! @iamsandrene was nice enough to invite me, so I thought sure! Why not! It was a fun time! I met a few cool folks. And I clearly don’t know what to do with my hands when getting photographed. A true LA experience!

There are two versions of Rollerball, one from 1975 and one from 2002, and boy did @leighlunacomics and I have a lot to say about both! But all that means is that there’s plenty of room for our truly cosmic remake!!

Today on the show, it’s clay versus fur as the classic Golem takes on Michigan’s favorite cryptid, the Dogman! Ideal Remake podcast host Sam Gasch takes us through the history of this robot precursor, while Jessi tells the terrifying tale of how her uncle scared a bunch of kids with his Dogman stories. Plus we talk about jorts, how tall the Lake Michigan waves can get, and the beauty of “yes and” in improv. Listen now!
