An 8-page script? The faith you have in me makes me uncomfortably flattered? Haha. Thank you, Director Joe Carabeo, for the opportunity to expand the Deko universe . . . and for creating a character that I don't have to change much for: smiles with a secret, doesn't like when men interrupt her, with a deadpan sense of humor. She's already my bestie.

Let's go conduct some killer interviews.

To see the first 7 parts, and catch me in the most recent one, visit: https://station33.site.

After our briefing with our amazing Hill Day leader and another cup of coffee, my first stop? Representative Jill Tokuda's office.

. . . with our Festival Director, Melissa. Director of Moloka'i Bound, Alika. Hill Staffer, Mirella. Director of Remanthau: People of the Ocean, Anne.

She's on her way to the Senate!

. . . an undeground subway?! Coool.

Next stop: Senator Mazie Hirono's office.

. . . where she actually met with us! We discussed: her art collection, plans to fund and protect filmmaking as a platform for sharing information, and why she loves origami cranes.

In order to keep her mind sharp, Senator Hirono makes 5 bead bracelets everyday. She has given away over 500 pieces. Now we have one too!

Opening Night: "This ____ Brought Us Together", a Shorts Program at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema DC. Full house!

A glimpse at Carlisle 200.

. . . with two amazing Directors and Writers: Sunny Dooley, "Ways of Knowing", featured on Opening Night and Kiyoka Rhodes!

"By any other name". And really, by any other age.

The body, after pregnancy, transforms into a permanently beautiful phase. But even though the body is . . . the mind isn't. Sometimes, it takes a wildly talented photographer to capture the bloom hidden in a 42 year old on her birthday . . . as a reminder that growth, joy and general badassery are a mindset and a photoshoot featuring long stems helps with the confidence ;) Thank you, Joe for making me do things I forgot I could do.
