Introducing @identitycoffeeco where every cup is crafted with purpose and passion. Where rich, organic beans meet mindful sourcing, and where great taste isn’t the only thing that matters — impact does too.

Using ethically sourced specialty roasts, everything here is created with intention. It’s coffee that fuels conversation, inspires connection, and supports meaningful causes around the world. Currently their efforts include “Freeing Slaves with Every Sip” where a portion of their proceeds from FreeBird organic coffee goes to support rescue missions that find and free victims of slavery and human trafficking.

At Identity Coffee, the coffee isn’t just about a drink —
it’s community, craftsmanship, and a chance to be part of something bigger.

Fall has officially fallen upon Identity!! 🍂🍁🍂 by @identitycoffeeco

Thank you @foodies.on.a.roll for visiting our new Taunton location at @thecenteronmain and for the great recommendation! ❤️ by @identitycoffeeco

As if our Iced Maple Cubano and Maple Sea Salt Lattes weren’t amazing already, @identitymeredith and @identitygilford are making them even better by collaborating with @merrillfamilyfarms and their local Maple Syrup! by @identitycoffeeco

Flying through our house made Pumpkinmallow syrup this fall! It’s ok though, because it’s a fun syrup to make… and definitely not because I get to lick the fluff/brown sugar spoon when I’m done 🫣😂. by @identitycoffeeco

Real progress isn’t always pretty—sometimes it’s a trench cut straight through the concrete foundation!

HUGE milestone checked off at the new Gilford location this week: underground plumbing is underway and the bathroom framing is officially taking shape. When you build a coffee bar from the ground up, the unglamorous rough-in work is what makes the magic happen later. 🪄☕

Walking the space now and actually seeing the rooms defined instead of just blue tape on the floor makes it all feel very real. 😬

Drop a comment with your go-to morning order so we know what to stock up on first! 👇

The plot twists of entrepreneurship are real. 🛠️☕

Looking at the framing going up at 28 Weirs Road in Gilford, I can’t help but look back at the chapters that got me here👇🏼

💼Business #1 (Before kids): A brick-and-mortar AV integration company. Technical, fast-paced, and pre-family.

💪🏼Business #2 (Mom of 3 era): An online health, fitness, and nutrition coaching business. Built between nap times, school drop-offs, and early morning strength sessions to help women prioritize their wellness.

☕Business #3 (Today): Building Identity Coffee Co. Gilford from the ground up through 21 Mile Group.

If you had told me a decade ago that my third business venture would be a specialty coffee shop, I would have laughed out loud. Mostly because back in the day, I didn’t even drink coffee. ☕😅

The irony isn’t lost on me. I only discovered a real love for coffee after stepping behind the bar as an employee in Meredith. What started as wanting to be involved in a local community spot turned into falling in love with the craft, the fast-paced hospitality, and the incredible people on both sides of the counter.❤️

When we set out to expand our footprint in the Lakes Region, the goal wasn’t just to add another pin to the map. It was about creating an intentional space right here on Weirs Road—built by locals, for our everyday community, whether you're grabbing a morning espresso on your commute or catching up after school drop-off.

The framing is going up, the blueprints are coming to life, and the vision is getting clearer every single day.

Gilford, we can’t wait to welcome you in. What are you most excited to see on our side of town? 👇

If you drove by this morning, you might have spotted something new on the building! 👀🪧✨

The "Coming Soon" signs are officially up in Gilford—and even more exciting: WE ARE HIRING! ☕🎉

Having run businesses and managed the shops, I know firsthand that the heartbeat of any great coffee spot isn't just the espresso machine; it’s the incredible team behind the bar. We are looking for passionate, upbeat people who love coffee, community, and great energy to help us launch this new location from day one. ☝🏼

As we were heading into the summer season, I had high hopes of filling the @identitymeredith IG with all the fun reels. Little did I know that we would have, yet another, record breaking summer and we were spending every second of the open hours making lattes, bfast/lunch and prepping for the day to come! There was little time for getting creative with reels! And..of course…this is a great problem!!! It seems that summer is coming to a close (not completely yet!), but it was an incredible one! Our staff CRUSHED it and I couldn’t be more proud of them! It’s time for the change of guard as we say goodbye to many of our veteran baristas as they head off to college! I did manage to take this one video of the making of one of our most popular lattes: the Iced Maple Cubano! If you haven’t tried this drink yet, this is your sign to make this day spectacular — stop in and grab one! by @identitycoffeeco
