The entire fuselage went through a thoroughly clay bar decontamination and multiple stages of paint correction using heat-sensing dual-action & rotary polishers. Tesla owners! 🚨 Unless you paid the up-charge to get a multi-coat color, (generally red or white) most teslas only have a single stage of basecoat and clearcoat. The watermarks and swirls that you see here are the results of drive-through car washes and not having a ceramic coating to protect from watermarks, oxidization, acid rain, mineral deposits etc.

Regardless, most vehicles that do not have UV damage in the clear coat to the degree of peeling or flaking are usually salvageable and can be paint corrected and ceramic coated to prevent the same from happening in the next 5 to 10 years. Most vehicles are categorized in Kelley Blue Book value by paint condition, assuming no mechanical or electrical issues since paint can cost thousands of dollars. Prioritize protecting your paint so you aren’t paying for paint corrections that only have decreasing results.

Yes, before and after videos tend to look great, but not every single swirl or watermark always comes off of vehicles that weren’t previously ceramic coated if UV rays have time to etch contaminants into the clear coat.
