things i learned this year/reminders to my future self
bc i am nothing if not a sentimental bitch:

2025 showed me that i am stronger than i think.
every time i lose myself, i hear her calling in the dark. i follow the soft voice back to myself. no matter how many times i get lost, i will always find my way back.
no matter what happens, i will figure it out. there is not an obstacle i’ve met that i haven’t overcome. i might cry a lot (scorpio moon ass bitch 🙄) but i will be ok.
no matter what happens, there are people in your corner who will be there for you regardless. people that love you will be there even when it’s your own mess to clean up.
it’s the little things that will heal you; peaceful nights alone. waking up with junie. the cigarette huddle outside of the bar. the sun after a long winter.

this independence, this peace, is mine. i worked my ass off to get here. and i am fucking proud of myself

2025 carried a lot of heaviness. but it was also really cool. i saw cool shows, i did cool hair, i met cool people. if you were apart of that, even if for just a second, thank you. if you shared kind words with me this year, thank you. i’m happy to be alive.
