MOUNTAINS Hundreds of lines, all slicing through the same invisible terrain. This series started as a flow field of layered noise, pushed until it felt like landscape: dunes, ridges and mountains that don’t exist anywhere. Lines lower on the page sit „closer“ and hide the terrain behind them, so the ridges really do overlap. Toward the bottom, the lines break into dashes and dissolve. The process: I wrote the code with Claude, ran and tuned it in p5.js, exported it as an SVG and plotted it in ink on A3. On screen it glows white and indigo on black. On paper it flips to dark ink on light board, and the pen leaves small imperfections no render would have.
