📍 This week: Dallas, TX
🔑 The rental: 2027 BMW 530i

First impression: I’m biased towards white BMWs…and this one didn’t disappoint.

The good:
• Great power from a twin-turbo 4-cylinder…and lots of torque
• Full of the usual BMW tech
• The ride was super-smooth and the handling was great

The not-so-good:
• The styling was good, but could have used a few M-Sport touches.

⭐ Overall: 10/10

🔁 Would I rent again? — Definitely! Team BMW for the win!

📍 This week: Tampa, FL
🔑 The rental: 2026 Mini Countryman S

First impression: A great SUV alternative - and full of that MINI flair!

The good:
• Wonderful handling - like a go-kart
• The motorized, retractable head-up display is tiny, but mighty
• BMW-esque features feel familiar and intuitive

The not-so-good:
• The round “dashboard,” tiny gear shifter, and “twist-to-start” function are all a tad too quirky.

⭐ Overall: 9/10

🔁 Would I rent again? — Yup! Fun to drive!

📍 This week: Detroit, MI/Cleveland, OH
🔑 The rental: 2025 Genesis GV80

First impression: Much more than a luxury brother to Hyundai/Kia.

The good:
• Great acceleration - 300 horses out of a 4-cylinder ain’t bad
• Plenty of luxury appointments
• Comfortable ride - like a floating couch

The not-so-good:
• Infotainment system was glitchy a few times, but resolved quickly.

⭐ Overall: 9/10

🔁 Would I rent again? — Absolutely. A great option!

📍 This week: Milwaukee, WI
🔑 The rental: 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71

First impression: Big boy toy…without running boards.

The good:
• Drives much smaller than it actually is
• The V8 is powerful enough
• Nice tech and infotainment system

The not-so-good:
• The gas mileage isn’t great. And where are the running boards?

⭐ Overall: 6/10

🔁 Would I rent again? — Only if I need the extra space for people or cargo.

📍 This week: Kansas City, KS
🔑 The rental: 2026 Acura ADX A-Spec Advance

First impression: A Honda HR-V in a tuxedo.

The good:
• Feels peppy for a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder
• The A-Spec features are a nice touch - especially the red interior stitching
• Decent amount of tech for the price point

The not-so-good:
• CVT transmission. Enough said.

⭐ Overall: 7/10

🔑 The rental: 2025 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF Grand Touring

First impression: Retractable top, two seats, and rear-wheel drive…a perfect combination.

The good:
• Amazing steering feel
• Lightweight and easy to toss into corners
• Top-up or top-down — still fun

The not-so-good:
• Not a manual. Limited cargo space for a work trip.

⭐ Overall: 9/10

🔁 Would I rent it again? Definitely a “go-to” option!

🔑 The rental: 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350

First impression: Nice family hauler, but a little weak.

The good:
• Gorgeous interior
• Super-comfortable ride
• Hands-free lane change assist

The not-so-good:
• Severely underpowered. A 4-cylinder pumping out 255 horses.

⭐ Overall: 8/10

🔁 Would I rent it again? ABSOLUTELY
