Every color has a beginning. 🌼🌸🌿

These are the flowers we grow by hand for our natural dyes. From tiny seeds to vibrant blooms, every plant is nurtured with care before it becomes part of the beautiful colors we create.

Growing our own dye flowers means we know exactly where our colors come from, and it allows us to celebrate the changing seasons, the beauty of nature, and traditional plant-based dyeing.

Each blossom has a purpose, and every harvest is another step in creating rich, natural color.

Thank you for following our journey and supporting slow, sustainable craftsmanship. We can't wait to share more of the dyeing process with you. 👀 Peep the garden gnomes made by local artists @phresshhh_creations

**🌞🍓🎨 COMMUNITY, CREATIVITY & GOOD FOOD! 🎨🍓🌞**

There’s so much happening this month, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

On **June 24th**, we'll be serving up our **Red, White & Blue Senior Lunch & Learn** in partnership with the Wrightwood Art Center and hosted by the Wrightwood Community Services District. ❤️🤍💙

This month's menu:
🍔 Pulled Pork Sliders
🥗 Potato & Pasta Salad
🍓 White Cake with Strawberries & Blueberries

As head cook, one of my favorite things is bringing a new culinary experience to our seniors each month. But what makes this event truly special is the community behind it.

💕 Huge thanks to our incredible volunteers and our amazing homeschool student servers who help create such a welcoming experience for our guests.

🎟️ Every Lunch & Learn also features a raffle filled with prizes purchased from local businesses—everything from gift cards and artwork to unique experiences. Supporting local is part of who we are!

🌸 Fun fact: The floral centerpieces on each table come straight from the **I DYED gardens**, where we grow many of the flowers and plants used in our natural dye projects. One lucky guest from each table gets to take an arrangement home! 🌿💐

☀️ BEFORE THAT... come see us at the **Summer Solstice Celebration on June 20th!**

You'll find **I DYED** bringing:
🎨 Face Painting
🌀 DIY Tie-Dye
🌿 Native Plants
🏺 Ceramics
💎 Crystals
🖌️ Art & Handmade Goods

✨ We're a mother-daughter team passionate about bringing creativity, nature, and community together.

🌿✨ Pause here for a moment. ✨🌿

Turn the volume up and let the creek remind you to slow down.
Take a few deep breaths with me…

Inhale peace.
Exhale tension.
Inhale creativity.
Exhale overwhelm.

Nature has a way of bringing us back to ourselves. Around here at I DYED, we believe self care can look like dirty garden hands, colorful tie dye, painted faces, homemade meals, creek sounds, and moments that help us reconnect. 💛

So before you keep scrolling…
Stay here for a few breaths. You deserve this moment. 🌱

🌼💛 Senior Lunch & Learn: Wednesday, April 22nd at 11 AM 💛🌼

We’re excited to welcome our 55+ community for an afternoon built around good food, creativity, and shared connection.

Lunch will feature Thai red curry and dumpling soup, with Miang Kham served as the appetizer. Miang Kham is a traditional Southeast Asian bite associated with gathering and hospitality, which sets the tone for this month’s creative project.

Reyna from the Wrightwood Arts Center will guide participants in painting rocks that will become part of a community rock snake, a collaborative piece that reflects the same spirit of community & coming together.

Spots are limited and first come first served. Please call 760.249.3205 to reserve your seat.

If you’d like to volunteer and help support this event, please email recreation@wrightwoodcsd.org

💛 We’re looking forward to sharing this time and meal with you.💛 by @idyednaturalali
