BREAKING: STRIKE AT AMAZON IN RIVERSIDE

This morning, Amazon warehouse workers scheduled to work at the company’s largest delivery station in the United States, DJT6, walked off the job and went on a one-day ULP strike over Amazon’s illegal behavior during workers’ push for better wages and working conditions.

“Hundreds of coworkers and I have been speaking up as Teamsters for fair pay and a safer workplace, which Amazon does not provide at the moment,” says Emmanuel Cadena, a DJT6 Amazon worker. “The company has responded to our reasonable demands with illegal intimidation, so now we are on strike to defend our rights.”

In December 2025, a majority of warehouse workers at DJT6 signed union authorization cards with Teamsters Local 1932. Since then, Amazon has ignored federal labor law requiring contract negotiations with workers at the last-mile facility.

“Amazon is a very wealthy company that has proven to have no respect for the people who keep it running,” says Kain Kazsuk, a DJT6 Amazon worker. “In the Inland Empire, we have had enough, and we will fight this company until Amazon follows the law and negotiates a union contract that provides fair pay and safe working conditions.”

At DJT6, where warehouse employees perform the final work in the supply chain before customer packages end up in an Amazon delivery van, Amazon Teamsters are leading the fight as the company heads into its busy holiday peak season. taken in Riverside, California by @ieamazonworkers

In New York City, momentum is building behind the Delivery Protection Act — legislation aimed at holding massive delivery corporations accountable and strengthening protections for the workers who keep packages moving every day.

The proposal has earned the support of a supermajority of the New York City Council, but the fight isn’t over. Workers and Teamsters are continuing to push to get the Delivery Protection Act across the finish line.

Amazon controls the work. Amazon must accept responsibility.

Teamsters, Amazon workers, allies, and elected leaders are calling on the New York City Council to pass the proposed Delivery Protection Act.

No more hiding behind subcontractors. No more escaping responsibility.

NEW YORK LEADS. THE FIGHT IS GOING NATIONWIDE. YOUR CITY IS NEXT!

Share this reel and comment with the city that should be next.

SIGN PETITION W/ LINK IN BIO:

We are Amazon warehouse workers, drivers, and tech workers (@amazonteamsters and @amznworkersforclimate) outraged by the violence perpetrated by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) and the Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP).

Amazon Web Services recently earned 64 million dollars in contracts with ICE and CBP, but its own workers are living in fear. Many of us are immigrants, and many of us come from immigrant families. We worry about our safety and our loved ones’ safety.

Our fears are well-founded.

ICE has overtly racially profiled, harassed, and attacked countless people in its efforts to meet its quotas. Last year in Texas, an ICE agent killed Amazon worker Ruben Ray Martinez, though a sworn witness said he was simply trying to follow the agent’s order to leave. Recently in Detroit, ICE abducted two Amazon FLEX drivers who were just trying to do their jobs. Corporate and logistics workers alike who live in targeted neighborhoods have begun carrying our passports everywhere, have stopped traveling alone, and have stopped doing the things we enjoy, simply because we don’t know if we will be next.
Amazon needs to take a stand against this and commit to protecting its own workers.

We demand Amazon:

1. Protect all Amazon workers, from warehouse workers and drivers to tech workers. ICE and CBP will never be let into Amazon offices or facilities without a judicial warrant.

2. Prohibit Amazon warehouses from being used as, or sold to become, detention centers.

3. Drop AWS’s contracts with ICE and CBP.

4. Commit to supporting workers whose status changes under rapidly shifting immigration laws. by @ieamazonworkers

California Inland Empire workers stand with @amazonteamsters @nyteamsters @nysaflcio to pass the DELIVERY PROTECTION ACT!

As NYC Councilmember Tiffany Caban put it, the Delivery Protection act is long overdue! It’s protects workers so much that Amazon is willing to spend $5 Million Dollars against it!

The time is now to pass the DELIVERY PROTECTION ACT.

Today, Secretary-Treasurer Randy Korgan and General President Sean M. O’Brien rallied with Amazon Teamsters in New York City to pass the DELIVERY PROTECTION ACT

New York City has an opportunity to hold Amazon accountable from shielding itself from their crooked business model that exploits workers.

We applaud Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Councilmember Tiffany Caban, Deputy Mayor for Economic Justice, Julie Su, and many others for their dedication to passing this historic piece of legislation.

We look forward to Council members in the IE similarly passing policy that will protect workers in the community they work and live. Local elected officials always ask, how can we help these workers.

Here you go, this is how you do it! by @ieamazonworkers

LET’S GOOOOOO! The House just approved a bill to speed up union contract negotiations. This is a game changer for many unions investing in new organizing drives! This bill helps workers close out their first contract faster, making it easier to build towards more centralized efforts, one employer at a time! taken in Inland Empire, CA by @ieamazonworkers

We spoke with Juan from the Inland Empire Amazon Teamsters Union earlier last month at May Day to hear his take on what matters to him and to Amazon Teamsters members.

Shout out to @ieamazonworkers for leading the way for better worker rights. To support worker rights in the IE and if you know anyone that is a warehouse worker that would like to unionize, visit here: https://warehouseworkers.org/wwrc_campaigns/worker-power/

Thank you @sbacommunities and @warehouseworkers for shining a light against the growing surveillance in San Bernardino. Residents want their taxes to fund safe roads, more green spaces, and lighting — not more spying cameras. The city needs to put the needs of residents over partnerships with big tech companies like Axon and Flock. Reach out to Brenda at 909-255-9539 to take action and stop the city from tracking our daily lives. by @ieamazonworkers
