I’m overjoyed and incredibly grateful to share that I’ve received a kidney transplant! This is a huge milestone in my journey. I never let lupus define me or stop me from pursuing anything I wanted in life. Even though at times I felt defeated, I kept going.

I want to take a moment to thank God, my mother, every prayer group that included me in their prayers, amazing medical team, my family, and my friends for their unwavering support and encouragement. To my donor and their family, words cannot fully express my gratitude. Your gift has given me a second chance at life, and I will carry that with me every single day.

While there is still a road to recovery ahead, I’m feeling hopeful and ready to embrace this new chapter. Thank you to everyone who has been there for me. Your love and positivity have meant the world. Here’s to new beginnings and brighter days ahead! 🙏💜
