I find romance in small moments.

Candlelit breakfast.
A new book cracked open.
A good workout.
A sparkly outfit reppin’ my fave sports team.
A happy night at Trove with the best regulars.

A late run because the walk home was too beautiful not to repeat.
The arch glowing at grand army.
The park lit just right.
NYC too bright for stars — but enough planes overhead to fake a galaxy.
The soundtrack never misses.

Debussy and a candlelit bath at midnight.
Face mask. Heating pad.
Blackout curtains. Fan humming.

Love is everywhere.
Especially in the quiet.

This is 40! It really is so crazy how time flies by. This year I wanted to get in the best shape of my life, grow my business, take more girls trips, and read great books. I crushed my goals and am going to dream bigger this next decade.

I want to spend my 40s helping my business flourish and being a bigger part of the community, being better at listening to my body when it needs rest, taking Esteban’s classes and working on that bootay, and for this decade to be ripe with love, friendship, family, and laughter. More live music, more sports (and winning teams!), more trips with my gals, more books, more adventure, more snuggly mornings and less rushing, and more more more dancing. I want to keep learning and challenging myself. I want to put my phone down and just live. Who’s coming for this ride? by @if_u_c_kay_

6/25: time is going too fast. June était plein d’amour. CPQ <3 BJQ

Teenie asked me if we were too old to go to a music festival. My response: fuck no, we are in our prime. Within 6 hours, we booked tickets, flights, hotel, and a tour guide. Then, what proceeded to happen is: we had the best weekend of our lives!!!!

I can feel my best friend like the weather. Friendships get tougher as we get older and our time is stretched so thin but Teenie and I put in the work. We do check-ins. We do quality time. We share books and leave each other little notations. We laugh at and with each other. I love this woman (who also happens to be a badass boss lady).

Bean, It’s too bad the thought of your V makes me gag and that I love men, otherwise, I’d have crossed the line years ago. We are in this life together, my girl. How lucky are we? 🫶🏽 taken in Chicago, Illinois by @if_u_c_kay_

I’d totally do it again; 2024 was a happy one! I can never fully express the depths of my gratitude to the people who help make my dreams come true everyday and to everyone who donated/sent messages of support/and those who come in to Trove (everyone come!). This has been the happiest year since back when I played soccer, read the Babysitter’s Club, and made my Barbie’s make-out all day. I’m really excited for 2025.
