My first poetry reading with @storytellers.guild!! I had a lovely time and appreciated their beautiful kind space 💕Shoutout to Sam (@samtatchell )for connecting me with them and my amazing friend for being my support system 🥺🤍

Another big step for me and I’m looking forward to more as summer rolls on! I was super nervous and was fumbling some words lool. For the theme “Old Dog, New Tricks”, I chose poems I wrote about the “rougher” edges of my personality that I fully embraced in my 25th year.

It’s so profound seeing reflections of my younger self. She knew who she was, who we were and she’s so brave. No matter how teary eyed I get from remembering our pits, I learn so much from her everyday by @ifescapes
