The most recent stop of Jump Jets at @columbusairport and likely the final time in history.

These Harriers were from VMA-223 "Bulldogs" which is now a decommissioned squadron and the Harrier platform is no longer in service in the U.S. Military.

They stopped in here on their way home to @mcas_cherry_point from @eaa Oshkosh 2025 for fuel along with some rest and recovery.

Thanks to @laneaviation for supporting and getting them out the door even in the rough weather of that afternoon.

A unique piece about this flight of Harriers is the TAV-8B shown in the first picture, which is a 2 seater variant meant for training pilots on the platform.

Editing truly brings out the best in photos. Here's some of my more dramatic examples.

The first photo is the final version, and the second photo is the unedited version with only the same crop applied. All shot and edited from RAW versions.

My process has changed quite a lot as I've gained experience and learned better methods to achieve the look I prefer for each photo.

The best way to understand and find your style is through experience. I'm sure when I look back on these in a couple more years, I will see things I would do differently.

I started with @adobecreativecloud @lightroom desktop version but learned that my process can be much more efficient using Lightroom Classic.

@femahiester showed the incredible capabilities of the Viper for the crowd at @eaa AirVenture Oshkosh 2026.

It is painted to match the YF-16 which was first flown in 1974 and was represented incredibly well for @america250

This Boeing E-6B Mercury is pictured here doing touch-and-goes at @jacksonairports from runway 16L on September 9th, 2026.

The E-6B has an interesting story for a number of reasons, but one that most can enjoy is that it was the last version of the Boeing 707 aircraft they ever built.

@redbullairforce put on a fantastic display of their capabilities to flip a MBN BO 105 helicopter. It was truly something special.

The @ohiostatehighwaypatrol was in attendance at their local @eaachapter9 Young Eagles Rally on May 30th, 2026.

The event was held at @osuairport and flew almost 100 kids that day. The goal of these events is to introduce and inspire aviation in the youth of our communities.

This C-17 (serial: 08-8194) flew direct from Roosevelt Roads in Ceiba, Puerto Rico. I suspect it was used in relation to Operation Southern Spear.

P-51C Mustang, "Tuskegee Airmen" and "By ReQuest", saw service stateside as a trainer in 1945, then declared surplus after the war ended. It was displayed at Montana State College (now Montana State University) for 40 years before being donated for restoration. The CAF took possession of the aircraft in the late 1980s and was initially restored to flying condition in 2001.
