Prioritizing spatial flexibility, adaptability, and energy efficiency, the Bhartiya Centre of Information Technology (BCIT) in Bengaluru is a dynamic IT campus designed for the modern Indian workforce.

Designed by @edifice_consultants , under the leadership of Ar. Manoj Choudhury and Ar. Mahesh Thakur, the expansive 25-acre project sits within the larger Bhartiya City master plan, seamlessly integrating the collaborative workspace with a mixed-use urban development.

To create a truly people-centric environment, the architectural team transformed mandatory open space into a lush five-acre central park, beautifully realizing the concept of ‘an office in the park’. Responding to the evolving demands of the modern work-from-home culture, "A Cabinet of Curiosities" is a bespoke, multifaceted piece crafted by @adammarkowitzdesign for an apartment in East Melbourne.

The clients, who are avid collectors, needed a functional intervention that could display their treasures, serve as a closable workstation for better work/life separation, and gracefully screen a newly built neighboring tower.

The design elegantly achieves these goals without completely blocking the natural light from the window beyond. The result is a highly dynamic piece featuring tambour doors that seamlessly slide away, allowing the cabinet to shift rapidly from a solid, barrier-like structure to a porous, light-permeable object.

Rejecting the sterile, plastic-heavy aesthetic often associated with modern tech retail, the Ezhomz Experience Centre in New Delhi houses high-end home automation within raw, recycled brick structures. Designed by @we.arquite under the leadership of co-founders Ar. Kapil Razdan and Ar. Seema Pandey, the 3,500 sq. ft. space is guided by the intriguing principle of 'Kinetic Invisibility.'

Rather than leaning into aggressive consumerist design, the architecture embraces the concept of 'calm technology.' By beautifully contrasting ancestral masonry in brick and stone against the complexity of the digital age, the space proves that future intelligence can be seamlessly integrated into warm, grounded environments.

Translating the legacy of an 1829 Scottish paint brand into a modern, tactile environment, the new Craig & Rose Experience Centre in Chennai completely reimagines the conventional paint store. Designed by @wearezarc Chennai (led by founders Ar. Mashaal Jahanzaib, Ar. Sushmitha Shivakumar, and Ar. Anam Hayath) with lighting by Mohamed Saleem, the space anchors its aesthetic in classic Scottish design while seamlessly weaving in contemporary elements to elevate the customer journey.

To cater specifically to Indian preferences, the architects moved away from traditional swatch walls and developed highly bespoke exhibits. A standout feature is a striking single pyramid display that beautifully showcases three distinct paint finishes chalky emulsion, gloss, and eggshell allowing visitors to experience the brand's rich history in a highly immersive, physical way.

Housed within a beautifully dense tree cover, the Birla Taranya Experience Center by @modezarch is a 14,000 sq. ft. masterclass in site sensitive architecture. Led by architects Amogh Sule, Pritish Ghamandi, and Preshita Chaudhari, the space spans five interconnected blocks woven together by pocket courtyards that invite air, light, and greenery indoors.

Responding to the client's vision for a grand yet welcoming environment, the design team turned the site's primary challenge its unusually thick vegetation into its greatest asset. A cluster based strategy breaks the built form into smaller volumes carefully positioned around the existing trees, creating a seamless blend of built space and natural landscape.

Mumbai-based @pentaspacedesignstudio has designed Avyaana, an experience centre deeply rooted in the Wabi-sabi philosophy. Led by architects Gaurav Sanghavi, Harsh Pote, and partner Tanmay Mukherjee, the space evokes profound simplicity, thoughtfully embracing imperfection, transience, and restraint.

Enclosed on three sides by taller structures that limit peripheral light, the interior relies on the passage of time as a crucial design element. As the space naturally evolves with shifting light, shadow, and human presence, Avyaana steps away from traditional visual spectacle to offer an environment that is highly welcoming and reflective.

Nilambur and Kovalam-based @clay_hands_pottery founded by third-generation terracotta artist Sivaprakash, has created the Kaliman Kolambi—a zero-electricity, eco-friendly acoustic smartphone amplifier crafted entirely from baked clay.

Inspired by traditional Kerala percussion instruments such as the Idakka and Maddalam, Sivaprakash developed his first clay amplifier in 2019. The ingenious design utilizes natural acoustic physics to produce deep, warm audio directly from a phone, elegantly eliminating the need for wires, Bluetooth devices, or batteries.
