#TBT to my @essence beauty cover in 2010! While we’re advocating for vogue to start an African edition of vogue, let’s not forget to push our black magazines like Essence magazine and other black owned magazines! Let’s build our own and push the envelope to tell our African and black heritage stories in our own way. We don’t need validation from vogue.
