Starting the new year off fresh! The emotional weight, I felt lift off of my shoulders as soon as I cut the last one was crazy. Almost like the day you can finally breathe again after you’ve been congested & not feeling well! The past 4 years & 4 months have really been a rollercoaster for me and this set of locs was there for it all! So many tears & disappointments… but also lots of laughter & resilience. For NYE, I declared a new beginning for myself… a fresh start! Head up, chest high & fear free! No longer bound from anything I felt hurt or hindered me but embracing & creating the space for new experiences to flourish and grow!

I look forward to see what 2026 has in store for me ✨

** A new set of locs may one day come… but for now, enjoy this view 😌

Yesterday was one for the books! My youngest brother proposed to my sister-n-law and he asked me to sing 🥹. Of course I couldn’t say No. Afraid, nervous and all, I did it! Along with my good sis ShayShay! 🎤…Such a beautiful moment 🖤🌹 (Full Song Video On My TikTok) #1010 #blacklove #proposal #family #pov #SheSaidYes by @igabistarr
