Today the international women’s day celebration, the team of Pad girl child with biglove campaign @pad_a_girl_africa__ empowered the next generation of strong, confident young women on #IWD2024.
The team alongside wonderful Nigerians, were gracious enough to have gifted 1,500 free sanitary towels to support young girls.
@pad_a_girl_africa__ team also sensitize young girls of St Teresa college on menstrual hygiene and other important details on menstrual cycle.

Thank you to everyone that has supported this campaign with money, time and prayers. May GOD replenish your pocket. We do not take your kind gesture for granted.

Every bulletin is a reminder that excellence is built long before the red light comes on.

Quick radio update because y’all deserve the gist

Can I just say something?

Transitioning from being a show host to becoming a full time newscaster has been one of the most intriguing, rewarding and demanding experiences of my career.

As a presenter, I could gist, laugh, banter and flow naturally. News casting? Ah! This one no dey smile. Every word counts. Every pause matters. Pronunciation, punctuation, diction, timing, voice control, breathing… even where you decide to breathe sef fit affect the entire bulletin.

Honestly, it has humbled me.

Every day I walk into the newsroom ready to learn something new. Some days I leave feeling like, “Yes! We did well today.” Other days, one correction will remind me that the learning never really stops.

And you know what? I actually love it.

It has stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. It has made me pay attention to details I used to overlook. It has reminded me that growth can be uncomfortable, but it is always worth it.

The best part is seeing myself improve little by little. The things that made me nervous when I resumed are gradually becoming normal. My confidence is growing, my delivery is getting better, and I am learning to trust my voice again.

Looking back, after almost two years away from radio, I am even more grateful that I said yes to this opportunity. God knew I needed this season. Not just to return to radio, but to return differently.
