This impromptu Bacolod trip was one for the books! I didn’t expect to explore heritage houses, have breakfast by the beach and eat Chicken Inasal every dinner (with extra extra rice, no guilt) all in one weekend. The hype is real, Bacolod truly has some of the most delicious food. Namit Gid! If I stayed for a few more days, I’d probably have a combination of hypertension and diabetes and it would still be worth it. The biggest revelation however is to see how hygienic the city is. CRs were spotless, inasalans don’t serve plastic cups with sebo (looking at you Mang Inasal) and even the passengers in non-aircon transpos smell fresh. As a nasty gal, I learned a thing or two about cleanliness from this trip. Ivana and Benitez are still dirty though- dispose them ASAP! 2024 was BRAT!
Jusqopoo 2025 ko na na post yung reel. Anyways, here’s the recap everyone is waiting for. But to get the full credit, I need a write up. This year, I’ve been more rebellious and have taken greater risks, and with serendipity, it brought out the best in me - it’s true then that fortune favors the brave. As I continue my journey in my 30s, I’ve realized that what matters most in life are the people. So I’m thankful for all the connections and made and lost this year. From unclaimed Klook tours to an unexpected Karaoke session singing Meteor Garden songs with actual Taiwanese, my first Taipei experience 💯 checked off my priorities. I’ve never let loose and enjoyed myself in my entire life - Taiwanese do know how to have fun, especially the gays!
