Finally revealing the results of the Sauer-inspired earrings I recreated! They’re gorgeous and HEAVY! What do yall think? Acertei? 👀

I used amethysts instead of emeralds, and 18k gold plating on sterling silver in lieu of 18k gold (have yall seen the gold prices?? commission me first and THEN we can talk gold!)

This attempt does have some texture on them - not ideal but let’s call it a stylistic choice for now 😂

But in all serious, invite me to all the fancy schmancy events this summer because this is a stunning cocktail piece I intend to wear! 💃🏽

Anddd Project 1 was a success! 💃🏽 I made a sterling silver ring with a carnelian stone to replicate a ring I found in a random magazine clipping (which I added to my vision board late last year!) Talk about manifestation 🧘🏾‍♀️

Gonna call this the Mani ring. I have similar stones in many fun colors - more to come on this! How did I do? Comment “Mani” if you want one 😌

Petition for men to bring back the pinky ring! 📣

As a jewelry nut, I loved seeing pinky rings on the Bridgerton men so of course I recreated Anthony’s from Season 2! Even though they didn’t actually become popular in England until the Victorian era, the men’s pinky ring has been around since Antiquity, serving as a stealthy symbol of success and wealth.

They’re still worn today by royals, and you’ll often see your fave musicians in them.

Fun fact: the most valuable hip hop artifact is —you guessed it— a men’s pinky ring! The Crown Ring was purchased in 2023 by Drake for $1M and was originally owned by none other than Tupac.

Brazilians are the best in the game when it comes to colored jewelry. Argue with ya momma. Sauer is the blueprint.

Founded in 1941 originally as a lapidary, Sauer takes a colorful approach to high jewelry while embedding elements of nature, spirituality and art throughout its collections. Jules Sauer spent his career making Brazilian colored gemstones like emerald, Paraíba tourmaline and aquamarine world-renowned.

Currently led by Stephanie Wenk, I recently visited Sauer’s Madison Ave. store and was blown away by the latest collection. She brings such a fun, colorful perspective to high jewelry that is so needed. 🌈 Tô obcecada!

As a jewelry designer I have dozens of pieces on my personal wishlist at any given time. A Spinelli Kilcollin is absolutely on mine. They don’t do rings like everyone else, they do rings on rings on rings - literally!

So like any regular person would (lol), I decided to figure out how they made it. The wax model is promising 🫡
