The fair runs on grease, sugar, and bad decisions. 🎡
Funnel cakes the size of your head, sausage stands glowing like neon chapels, and a booth that just calls it what it is: TOTALLY AWESOME.
What is your non-negotiable fair food order?

Experimenting in pitch darkness — armed with nothing but a xenon flash, a C41 film sim, and zero editing. 🎞️
Point, flash, develop in reverse. The night does the rest.

Every small town has a window like this. 🪨
Crystals, curiosities, and a stone guardian watching over them — then right outside, a scarecrow in sneakers holding down the sidewalk. Main Street does not do ordinary.
What is the strangest shop window you have ever stopped to stare through?

Some places of worship outlive the towns around them. ⛪
This old mountain church has stood here longer than anyone remembers — pews worn smooth by generations, doors standing open, the woods keeping quiet watch around it.
History lives in walls like these.

Waffle House is truly an amazing place. 🧇
But I am not aware of any restaurant more divisive — people either swear by it or swear at it. So let me know in the comments: how do you feel about it? Or even better, share a photo of a memory you had there.
📷 Shot on a Fuji X half — perhaps as divisive as the restaurant itself.

Peeking inside small-town America. 🏠
A truck cab wearing fifty years of weather. A pig chef standing guard over the Coke fridge. A flower shop glowing in the afternoon light.
Which one is your favorite?

The little reptile shop of horrors 🦎🎃
@petandsupplybyendless.scales in Cumming, Georgia is getting into the Halloween spirit — skeletons on the shelves, a pumpkin-headed bear, and one deeply unsettling bunny guarding the tortoises.
Amazing place, highly recommended for all your reptile needs. Swipe — which one is haunting your dreams tonight?

Series finale: with the help of the Mystery Gang, I thought we found him! 👣
Okay... maybe not this time. But this 20-year-old LX2 never ceases to amaze me — the quality and clarity out of this little digital camera is unreal.
Swipe for the bonus find — wrong cryptid, same energy. The search continues.

Part four: we called in the professionals. 🔍
The Bigfoot search led us straight to the Mystery Gang — haunted mini golf, glowing ghosts, and a town that takes its cryptids very seriously.

Part three: the Smokies, unmasked. 🏔️
Drove in through fog so thick the mountains earned their name twice over. Drove out the next morning under a sky so clear you could see for miles — same road, completely different mountain.
Magic both ways. Swipe — fog or blue sky, which one's your Smokies?

Made it past Bigfoot. 👣
After winding through fog so thick the mountains just stopped, we came out the other side in Pigeon Forge — and the woods were putting on a laser show.
Guess something out there wanted to say welcome. Swipe — worth the drive?

Something's out there. 👣
Winding roads through the Smokies on a Kodak digicam — fog so thick the mountains just stop. They say Bigfoot roams these hills. All I know is the trees were watching.
Swipe — tell me you don't feel it too.
