This structure is a student-designed bus shelter developed through the Z602 Design-Build Studio at the Indiana University J. Irwin Miller Architecture Program in Columbus, Indiana. It aims to reflect the architectural heritage of the city, and is made of steel plates with riveted connections.

SkyLume was completed earlier this year in Huntsville, Alabama. Final images and video are now up on our website. Follow the link to learn more.

Standing 60 feet tall, the sculpture represents energy, ambition, and a spirit of exploration, drawing inspiration from gravity, orbital motion, flight, and Huntsville’s history of aerospace innovation. Hundreds of kinetic elements respond to wind and sunlight throughout the day, while internal lighting transforms the sculpture after dark. Ignition Arts assisted with structural welding, painting and erecting the structure during install. by @ignitionarts

Meet Chilean creative studio @gt2p. Now open on the High’s Carroll Slater Sifly Piazza, “Los Porfiados (The Stubborns)” is inspired by the classic roly-poly wobbling toy known in Chile as “mono porfiado.” This installation comprises a landscape of inflatable, limber sculptures, some measuring up to seventeen feet tall, and invites visitors to interact with their pliable surfaces.
