Working on a new performance for children with @miscreations.theatre! 🎭❤️

It was an incredible experience for me to meet and collaborate with British theatre artists and children!

I absolutely loved their creative approach …the way they involve children in the process of making theatre, encouraging them to use their imagination, express themselves and become active participants in creating a performance.

Such a playful, imaginative and collaborative way of working with children!

A huge thank you to Rebecca Jameson and Aron De Casmaker, co-founders of Miscreations Theatre, for this wonderful experience and collaboration.

Please invite me again — I’d happily come back! 😄🎭❤️
And now, over to you, @ignorant_curator , for post-production! 🎬❤ taken in Allendale Northumberland by @ignorant_curator

Let me invite you to a screening of my film #Somewhere_After_Leaving
8 May, 4:30pm, Newcastle.

This project is about Ukrainians and all those who support them, and the film includes an episode about our project in Hexham 🤍

The film was created together with my colleague, Professor Kathryn Cassidy from Northumbria University. It was her idea — she has been researching Ukraine and borders for many years.

Free entry (registration here):
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/launch-of-the-documentary-film-somewhere-after-leaving-tickets-1988466903035?aff=oddtdtcreator

I’d be very happy to see you — I’ve been working on this film for the past year and a half, so it means a lot to me, and I’m a bit nervous. I’d really appreciate your support.🥰

Thank you to everyone who was part of this — for your support, your stories, and your help.

My team:
@ignorant_curator @tetianaosiko @marton_galgoczi

@jadi_studio @lucynychai @yaryna.kvitka @tsfworldtheatre and other… other… other

WAYFARING COLLECTIVE presents:

The Northern Tour 2025

With films by - Damian Le Bas, Delaine Le Bas and Andrea Luka Zimmerman

Leg two of four. We return to the road from Abundant Earth, Durham to Star and Shadow Cinema, Newcastle.

From the land to the urban. Our tour takes us to communities whom share cooperative principles, demonstrating sustainability in contrasting environments.

We are blessed and honoured to screen our film programme, celebrating and honouring freedom of movement. Together we break bread in the warmth of the fire and share reflections in post screening conversations with you, the audience. This is cinema making!

Come join us on tour! The Wayfaring Cinema moves on to the impressive Auckland Palace, Bishop Auckland, concluding at picturesque Dogson Wood, Lake District.

The Thamesmead Travelling Cinema becomes The Wayfaring Cinema
