Health insurance should be designed to help our citizens. Instead, it’s being used to hold them captive.

This is why I’ve gone with @iheartchm for the last 13 years and have recommended to family and friends who have also tremendously benefited.

My dad for example, had to spend 10 days in the ICU, a bill of $256k later, he was fearful this would ruin his family. But thankfully CHM was able to negotiate the bill down to $60k and then covered the remaining expenses beyond his monthly contribution and per incident contribution. Saving him THOUSANDS.

In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul speaks about a vision he received and explains why he would not boast about himself. He then shares about a “thorn in the flesh” that troubled him. Three times, Paul pleaded with the Lord to take it away, but the Lord responded:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Paul continues, “Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
—2 Corinthians 12:9–10

These verses remind us that our weaknesses are opportunities for God’s strength to be revealed. When we feel like we have nothing left to give, His grace remains sufficient and His power sustains us.

Raymond, we pray that the Lord provides you with the strength and energy you need as you continue living out His calling on your life. May you find joy and confidence in knowing that God is near, that He is our healer, and that He provides strength even in the midst of physical sickness.

What does 80/20 really mean when it comes to healthcare costs?

For many people with health insurance, 80/20 means coinsurance: the insurer commonly pays 80% of a covered claim while the patient is responsible for 20%, until the out-of-pocket maximum is reached.

CHM works differently. As a healthcare sharing ministry—not health insurance—CHM shares 100% of eligible medical bills after Personal Responsibility amounts are met.*

Stewardship is a key part of making that possible, with administrative costs of no more than 10%, allowing at least 90 cents of every dollar to go toward medical bill sharing.

Holly, we are lifting your daughter Ila up in prayer. ❤️

Throughout Scripture, God reminds us that He hears us when we call upon Him. We pray that He will be near to Ila, bringing healing, strength, and peace during this difficult time.

Psalm 116:1-2 says,
"I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy.
Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live."

Lord, we lift Ila up to You. We ask that You give her doctors wisdom and guidance as they care for her head injury and determine the right treatments. We pray that the seizures will stop, that her body will heal, and that she will regain her strength.

Thank You for Holly and for the faith she has shown by bringing these prayers before You. Surround both Holly and Ila with Your love, comfort, and peace, and may they feel Your presence especially close to them during this time.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏
