It’s brought me so much joy watching the life cycle of the Eastern Black Swallowtail! I spotted some super tiny caterpillars on my parsley and dill plants and once they were big enough I brought a few of them into an enclosure for close observation🤓 It took around 24 hours for this little bug (aka Dillon) to find his spot, spin his silk rear pad and belt, hang in a J shape and surrender his life as a caterpillar before finally transforming into a chrysalis within minutes🥲 It’s absolutely incredible that as the chrysalis sits still, it appears to be doing nothing on the outside yet inside a complete breakdown of the old body and the rebuilding of a new creation is taking place😭 Thank God for this backyard blessing!🪞🦋 💌 taken in Backyard Blessings by @iii.karena

After getting home from a moonlit bday dinner with a special friend, I decided to photograph the full moon to solidify such a wonderful night. When I looked through my camera, I noticed the corner of the moon looked like someone had taken a bite out of it lol I was so confused because I’d been looking at the moon all night and swore it was full. So I went back inside to investigate online and realized I was in the midst of a lunar eclipse! (I guess I’m the only one who didn’t know) The colors were out of this world! It felt like I was looking into the eye of God! What a wonderful night it was.💫🌘🌈☀️💝 by @iii.karena

🍼🐰Mom came to visit every morning and evening then disappeared through the rabbit hole to do it all over again the next day🥹 Baby bunny (aka Bánh Mi) has officially left through the rabbit hole with mom. Thank God for another backyard blessing!🪐 taken in Backyard Blessings by @iii.karena

Came across a mama bear with her three tiny cubs. Just as we were about to take off, I realized one of the cubs had been left behind. This little bug cub cried out for its mom, climbed to the top of a tree, and waited patiently for her to return.😭🥲 by @iii.karena
