A bored doodle I made randomly. Took about 3.5 hours.

A music artist I was recently recommended. Safe to say I am a fan of her works.

Some old OCs I made in the past. I need to get back into using pencil again. It felt liberating when creating different shades

The term, "snake oil salesman," describes an individual that sells a faulty or otherwise false product for profit. It's derived from the early 20th century, as "doctor's" would travel to different cities to sell snake oil as a ailment to many diseases.

First, I understand these images look terrible, but it makes it harder for AI to replicate my stuff.

Secondly, I'm pleased to say that the first Nookmark design is complete; so many more to go :)

Third, I'm beginning to work on variants of these characters. Still seeing where it's going tho

The more I work on this project, the more invested I get, and the more I must consider what I am designing more, both as a product and a character. I don't want to scrap the bird design, but I do need to think of something for it.

An update to the bookmark design, I'm pleased to say that it does work with one problem: the bookmark size is too small. These bird-like designs can easily slip out, but I figured that would be more difficult or less common to occur if the size was bigger. The design was built within a 3 in. x 3 in. square grid, so larger proportions would help.

Secondly, I wanted to expand this project and design other bookmark designs inspired by made-up fantasy creatures. I have decided on the name "Nookmark" for the project, though it may change.

I want to start making these to sell as printable products one day, and maybe custom versions of them if people are interested. I do have other ideas for stationery products I hope could boost reading.
