There aren’t enough words to express how I feel so I’m sorry if I can’t find the right words at this time.
Thank you everyone that went out their way to pay me and my family respects for my dad. Lord knows our relationship wasn’t the best and we had a lot of unsettling feelings unsaid, but I always wanted more for him and to some day meet his grandkids because that’s all he ever asked for when he did call and we would speak briefly. Richard asked me many times about my dad and I always said we would go see him “one of these days”. I hate that I put it off for so long and didn’t get to see you dad. We had a lot of upsides and downsides and I can tell you that at least from all of my FIRST memories you were present. I’m sorry we didn’t get to share more time, but I’m glad that we were able to reconcile and we were able to talk the few times that we did. I hold no grudges and have no resentment for my dad. I knew this day would one day come and so did my family, but never knew it would be this soon. I’m sorry if I ever made you feel less than Dad. I was a child and didn’t know what you were dealing with emotionally. If I could apologize a thousand times and treat you kinder I would, I’d give you the biggest hug ever Dad. You don’t have to hurt no more. I love you always and no matter what. Until we meet again in the next life. 🕊️❤️‍🩹🤍

All I have left to say to anyone out there that is holding any grudges towards a parent or a loved one, take time today to be kinder than you were yesterday. Hug them and love them while they’re here because when it’s all said and done and they’re no longer here, you will feel every bit of pain once they’re gone. 🤍 by @iinfluence_x
