DJ iipro — Showreel 🎶

A few moments from some of the incredible events I’ve had the pleasure of being part of✨

Award ceremonies, weddings, corporate events, private parties and celebrations across Finland and a little beyond. From morning sessions to late nights, intimate gatherings to packed dance floors, and one-day events to productions spanning several days.

Every event is different. Different people, different places, different energy — and that’s exactly what I love about DJing.

For me, music has always been a vehicle for connection, expression and meaningful moments. Whether it’s setting the atmosphere or bringing everyone together on the dance floor, that’s what it ultimately comes back to.

Grateful to have been part of all these moments — and looking forward to everything still to come.💜

There’s room for you to do your own thing. ✨

I’ve been looking back at some of the earlier years of iipro music and thinking about how much I’ve learned along the way.

A lot of it has been learning by doing. Taking opportunities, meeting people, making mistakes and occasionally getting things right 🤩

When I started, I knew I loved music and wanted to make something of it. What I didn’t know was how much I’d end up learning about people, business and myself in the process.

One thing I’ve come to appreciate more and more is the value of the people around me. I’ve met so many talented artists, DJs and entrepreneurs whose work I admire and who continue to inspire me.

But admiring what someone else does doesn’t mean I should try to become more like them.

I think finding your own place has a lot to do with understanding what makes you different. What feels natural to you, what you enjoy doing and what kind of value you want to bring to others.

And of course, some days you’re on top of the world. Other days bring you right back down to earth. Both are part of the process.

Kind of funny to think of how much has happened and knowing there’s so much more to do.

There’s room for all of us to do our own thing. ✨

Above Helsinki at Clarion Skyroom🌅

Played everything from 80s classics to today’s pop hits for a room full of people from the banking and law world 🎵

The view from up here really is something else. Helsinki at night, the sea and city lights right behind the DJ booth.

Always a pleasure to play here ✨

The first wedding of autumn 🍂✨

From arriving at Kiialan Kartano in Porvoo to getting the sound and lighting ready, setting the atmosphere to turning into a party.

There’s something I really enjoy about seeing an empty space before an event begins. A few hours later the lights are on, music is playing, the room full of people and the same space feels completely different. The space is now where the memories are made 🤍

This was the first wedding of the autumn season — and a beautiful one to start with. 🤍

From setup to celebration. ✨

The event starts before the event ✨

Beginning of the week usually means planning what’s coming next. Emails, meetings, schedules — and starting to build the soundtrack.

Sometimes clients know exactly what they want to hear. Sometimes they know exactly what they don’t want to hear. And sometimes I just get to play it by ear — or by feel, to be real.

Fast-forward the part of the event I’m playing. Arrivals need something different from cocktails. Dinner is different from the party. And even with the same people in the same room, the music has a different job throughout the day.

The good thing about having done this for quite a few years now is that I’ve already put together hundreds and hundreds of playlists to go through — so I (almost) always have somewhere to start. 🤩

The rest gets crafted in the moment based on the people, the place and eventually the room itself.
And realistically speaking — expect the unexpected. In moderation, of course.

8 THINGS I’VE LEARNED AS A DJ 🎧

I’ve been doing this long enough to realise that most of what DJing has taught me has very little to do with DJing.

Some things I learned quickly. Some took years. And the best part is I’m still learning every day.

Different rooms, countries, people, mistakes, great nights, strange nights and tons of music along the way.

These are a few things I’ve picked up so far.

Turns out growing as a DJ has meant growing as a person too — and that’s definitely one of the reasons I love what I do, besides getting to bring more joy into the world through music. 🫶✨

THE DAY THAT HAPPENS ONCE 🤍

One thing I’ve always loved about music is where it takes you — into moments that are special because they only happen once ✨

This was one of those days this summer.
A beautiful celebration filled with love, family, friends and music. N & J 🤍

Every wedding reminds me how unique these days really are. Finnish weddings, international weddings, intimate celebrations and bigger parties — sometimes playing from the first arrivals through cocktails, dinner and the evening’s program all the way to the afterparty, sometimes joining for one part of the day alongside other incredible musicians and performers.

Every wedding has its own people, story and rhythm. No two are the same.

The summer of love has now found its place in our memories, and I’m looking ahead at a calendar filled with more weddings and celebrations through the rest of the year.

Grateful for the trust of being part of these once-in-a-lifetime days — and for getting to bring joy through music along the way ❤️

From cocktails to the dancefloor. ✨

Had the pleasure of DJing the opening of Orient Occident’s beautiful new showroom in Helsinki.

A space dedicated to materials, interiors and design — and you can feel it everywhere. From floor to ceiling, the showroom is full of beautiful colours, textures and details to explore.

We started the evening with music over cocktails and gradually transitioned to a great party by the end of the night.💜

I love playing events like this, where the music gets to become part of the space and its atmosphere.

Congratulations @orientoccident_fi on the new home ✨
