Not my usual post but I really wnated to share these

Hello from the first week in the new semester! I wss trying to take more pictures but we didn't do much since my schedule been a bit off (some of the doctors didn't send their practical class schedules so we couldn't attend them 😀💔 idk don't ask me they're so messy!)

I also went to lunch with my friends after so long I don't even remember when was the last time!
My father is leaving this Friday too so I will be alone for a while while trying to make my schedule more flexible so I can go to the gym soon too.

I'm so excited about this semester even though I have 7 hard classes (out of 13!) so we just need to pray I pass all of them 💀😭

Anyways, happy Thursday I hope you'll have fun this weekend and next week too!

Book I got when I went home for the summer break!
Those are book my bestie sent me 🥹💕💕 I told her I was starting the shadowhunters books and she hopped in and sent me these and some of her favourite books🥺🥺 (she sent me more but I had other editions of them and had read them so my sister took them —she's stepping into the reading world so I figured she would love some of my favourites too—)

I can't express my love and gratitude for this girl she's the best and like and older sister to me 🥺💕 and she got a taste in books 🫦🫦

September hopefuls 🍁🥮🍂

I've been waiting for the ber months for what felt like eternity!

Finally, I can say that the weather is getting a bit better. I secured my new apartment and my parents helped out sorting everything primarily inside it for now, it's a better place than the last one. Going back next week and starting my next semester on 19th September!

Gonna be a good semester and there will be late night studying at the library because I can do it only when the weather is good (the AC doesn't work well in the library so I hate it there and I hate studying while being sweaty)

ANYWAYS! I talked so much, I loved this post so much (and please don't say you read much for a girl in a slump—I know no one says this but I think it in my head lol—I have started all these in August 😩😩)

I have been thinking about these books none stop and really want to read them all but I want you guys to choose the first one.

I got really overwhelmed after finishing two books in the same week (the worst thing I have ever did is reading multiple books at the same time. I will never do this again my mind is more fragile than this.)

Summer is over (THANK GOD!)

I hate to hate things but summer left me no choice! Liek damn just go away with your hotter-than-my-fictional-men sun

But anyways I did some good reading and all my books were good books (you see me rating all these? Yeah because I'm tired of picking up books that I MIGHT like and turned into books I know I WILL like) (not for long though, will keep you updated)

Life has been life-ing, I finished my 5th semester and did good on my exams (not exceptionally good but good nonetheless)

And I found a new obsession (PHM & HP just in case you weren't updated through my stories) (keep your eyes there I'm always doing some crazy things that I don't post on my feed 😂🫢)

Oh well, I will end this with my usual.

Oh hi again! 🤭 it's Mariam and I brought you again some of my recent reads and what I thought if them, of course your can find more lengthy and detailed reviews on my goodreads and fable (you can find them in my bio, add me as friends I would love to see your reviews too! 😋)

Now, let me tell you something, I am absolutely loving this, I used to think Harry Potter fans were crazy (sorry guys BUT I AM NOW ONE OF YOU! 😭😭) and now I understand all the hype, I already downloaded all the famous fanfics I will read once I finish it but for now I will leave this aside because I don't want to finish it quickly 😭😭

Nothing more I have to say about this but I finished it in two sittings 😭😭 it brought me back to before I got into uni when I used to finish a book in one night like YES PLEASE GIVE ME MORE

Hii, I have been wanting to do this for a while but haven't had the time for it
Even though I'm in the middle of my finals I still find an hour or two before sleep to read (it's what keeps me sane with all the mess my life is)

I'm a fast reader with romance, but never with fantasy 😭

I want to do this weekly readathon once every month, because I can't do a 24 hours readathon (it's impossible for me I know it.)

Anyways, I hope you're having a great week (because god knows I don't except for these books my life is a literal mess and I'm struggling with these exams)

FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS
I was scared to do this kind of posts, I'm not really good at doing educational content but I was asked multiple times to do so and here I am! I hope you find it helpful. This is not a very advanced post because I want to start from the zero all the tips that I learned on my own and couldn't find any posts to help out with these!

i go to Pinterest at least 4 times a day, that's where I get most of my ideas and how I learned to edit and what would look more beautiful on posts and what is not very pleasing.

Make your own boards to whatever aesthetic you find appealing for you. Choosing you aesthetic doesn't need to be immediate, you can play around and find out what suits you most. My page was a mess of colors and different styles until I found what I really look for. You can also check out @nissaonlyreads 's posts to understand what I mean (her posts really helped me out when I didn't understand algorithm and editing)

As I said, play around, find things out, that's how most people learn about editing. Search whatever keywords comes to mind you will be surprised how much stuff will come up.

These are my favourite fonts so far. I use them differently and I obviously use more but these are the highlight of my posts.

Check out the accounts I mentioned for more details, you can always find new fonts on Pinterest too (that's how I found these!)

I made this post because I found so many people using AI to edit and annotate! And that's actually made me sad because I love seeing creativity, love to see people learning and getting better with time!
